The process of hot stamping/forging is a long established process for producing quality components from a variety of copper alloys.
The process brings speed of production, non-porous parts, close to final shape so little final work.
At Cerro EMS we have Hatebur Hotmatic forging machines
for the smaller high volume parts (max 50mm dia or a/f)
and a variety of forging presses with the capability
of producing a wide range of parts upto 5kg in weight.
These parts can be supplied as forged only, forged and
machined or forged, machined and assembled.
Major markets served include Gas, Water Fittings, Marine Equipment, Security and Hydraulics.
A variety of finishes can be provided ranging from in-house swarf blasting to various plating finishes, provided by outside services.
All parts are produced with the assurance of a BSI registered
firm operating a quality system approved to ISO 9001:2008.
